MAC Holiday Collection for 2026: Let’s take a look!
Guys, they bedazzled the little eyeshadow palettes! Christmas has never been so sparkly. It’s so cute!
There are more products and gift sets in the full MAC Holiday Collection 2026, including lipstick sets, gloss sets and a makeup brush set. I’m not too interested in those, which is why you won’t find them here. Instead, I’m focusing on the core collection and the products that stood out to me most.
I can’t wait any longer, so let’s dive in! Below are the products in the order I’ll be looking at them.
Fizzy Feels Lip Balm
Whenever I try to Google what these look like, I find surprisingly few posts actually showing them, despite lots of people talking about how viral they have been in the past. So, that’s interesting.
I will say that these are right at the top of my wishlist, and I’m hoping Santa pulls through before they sell out.
These are lip balms, so they’re much sheerer than they look in the bullet.
Crystal Caviar
A deep berry-black shade packed with pink sparkle. In the packaging it looks incredibly dark, but from what I’ve seen, it applies much more sheerly.
Fizzy Bubbles
A sheer, light bubblegum pink with white-gold sparkle.
I am super into Crystal Caviar. Like, super super. Fizzy Bubbles is not really for me; it’s a little too soft.
Smoke + Ice Eye Shadow Duos
Okay, these are so cute! The cases are bedazzled with rhinestones, and each one contains two eyeshadows: one smoky matte and one much more shimmery, multidimensional shade.
Luxe + Luminous
Luxe is a matte cool-toned taupe brown, while Luminous shifts between green, gold and blue. From the pictures, the shift reminds me a little of MAC’s Blue Brown Pigment.
Midnight + Magic
Midnight is a matte deep brown, while Magic has a fiery copper, gold and red shift.
Smoke + Sequins
Smoke is a matte black, while Sequins has an icy, aurora-like frost that immediately makes me think of snow.
I love the packaging! Luxe + Luminous is the most interesting to me because I can see myself getting the most use out of it. But Smoke + Sequins... does look very intriguing.
Extra Dimension Skinfinish – Glowflake
From the pictures, this looks like sparkling snow in compact form. MAC describes it as a translucent pink-frost highlight with a starlike shimmer.
I am very pale, and I am in a purple blush phase. This seems like it could be a match for me!
M·A·Cximal Sleek Satin Lipsticks
There are four M·A·Cximal Sleek Satin Lipsticks in limited-edition Holiday 2026 shades.
Naughty Nude
A soft pink-beige nude. This is the palest and most understated shade of the four.
Café Mocha Latte
A mauve-pink nude. A little deeper and moodier than Naughty Nude, and probably the most autumnal of the bunch.
Ruby Ooh La La
A bright, cool-toned red. Think classic MAC red territory, but with the shinier satin finish rather than something like Ruby Woo’s matte finish.
Berry Iconic
The darkest of them all! It’s officially described as a mid-tone berry, although from the pictures it looks quite purple to me and immediately reminds me of Rebel.
I actually really like the colour selection here. You get two much more wearable nude shades, followed by a proper bright red and a berry for something more dramatic.
Strobe Dewy Glow Stick – Spotlight
There isn’t quite as much information available about this one yet. What we do know is that Spotlight is a limited-edition Strobe Dewy Glow Stick designed to give the skin a glossy, wet-look highlight.
From the promotional pictures, it looks very pale and cool-toned to me, but I want to see proper swatches before trying to pin down the colour.
Best MAC Holiday 2026 Gifts
Buying MAC makeup for your girlfriend or partner this Christmas, but not sure what to pick? Look at the colors they usually wear.
If they like brown and neutral eyeshadows, get: Midnight + Magic
Pair it with Naughty Nude if they like pale and natural lips, or Café Mocha Latte if they tend to wear something a little darker but still natural.
If they like high contrast and wear very dark colors, get: Smoke + Sequins
Pair it with Naughty Nude, Ruby Ooh La La, or Berry Iconic, depending on whether they prefer pale lips, bright reds, or dark berry shades.
If they’re somewhere in the middle — not really into natural makeup, but also not wearing black eyeshadow — get: Luxe + Luminous
Pair it with Naughty Nude if they like pale and natural lips, or Café Mocha Latte if they tend to wear something a little darker but still natural.
Final Thoughts on the Collection
I really enjoy the packaging MAC did this year. I can kind of see the vision, although I’d say this collection has less of a clear theme than some Holiday collections. It’s more like... just really beautiful festive makeup.
There is definitely a strong use of contrast throughout, though. You can see it in the black packaging with white glitter and rhinestones, the stark white highlighter, and the black-and-white eyeshadow duo. Even the shades play with contrast: soft nudes against deep berries, both in the satin lipsticks and the Fizzy Feels Balms.
My personal favourites are Crystal Caviar, Luxe + Luminous, Glowflake, and Naughty Nude.
The only problem now is that the full European line-up and prices have not been confirmed yet, so I won’t get my hopes up too high until I see an official announcement. At which point, I’ll be back updating this post.
